One board. One venue. Six businesses.
LocalSix keeps the idea simple on purpose: a busy local venue gets something useful for free, and six local businesses share the cost of getting in front of the same visitors.
Venue’s own space
The top of every board belongs entirely to the venue — classes, specials, events, whatever they want to put up and change whenever they like.
Underneath sit exactly six advertising tiles. Every board has six, no more, no fewer — that’s where the name comes from.
From idea to installed board
Step 1
A venue is chosen
We look for busy, well-liked local venues — the sort of place people visit every week. The venue agrees to host a board at no cost.
Step 2
Six categories are set
We plan six advertising categories that suit that venue’s visitors, then offer one space per category so businesses never share a tile with a direct competitor.
Step 3
Six advertisers sign up
Local businesses reserve a tile, pay the annual fee, and send over their artwork. A board is never ordered until all six spaces are sold and paid for.
Step 4
The board is made and installed
Once all six positions are confirmed, the board is produced and installed at the venue, with the venue’s own area ready for their notices from day one.
Step 5
The board goes live
The venue starts using its space straight away. Each advertiser gets a full 12 months in front of that venue’s visitors.
One business per category
Where it’s practical, we only ever sell one advertising tile per business category on any single board. A board might carry a plumber, a florist, a hairdresser, an estate agent, a coffee shop and a fitness studio — never two plumbers competing for the same tile. It keeps the board useful to visitors and fair to every advertiser on it.

Whether you’d host a board or take one of the six tiles, it starts with a short form.
